So lovely to meet up again after over 20years! I always said you were my best trainees at Ipswich ringcraft, as you listened and took everything on board. In those days I had irish wolfhounds,but now have something slightly smaller - min poodle and so the circle is complete and Dougal will be in for a hair cut on Tuesday - if only I could remember what time!

Dear Isabel and Rodney, several years ago Sharon & I lost our Rusty boy Airedale to a vet mistake on Vaccinations. You were so wonderful in your reply to our loss. I then emailed you and told you of Wilson we got from Aberdeen Airedales in Michigan. He is the offspring of " Bill " from California he is now 3 & last year Diana Mckenna of Aberdeen Airedales in Michigan called us & offered Wilson Mother , Miss Pleasie. Now we have two wonderful dales are are so pleased with them. I am writing to you to wish you both and your Dales a Very Merry Christmas & Happy new Year.

thank you, wonderful to view your site. In the USA we have to have our dogs vaccinated every 3 years for rabies & it was recommended every year for distemper/parvo. My Airedale was 6 going on 7 & the vet gave him a distemper/parvo shot one month ago & within one week he developed acute renal failure & we had to have him put to sleep. God how we miss him,... I am just wandering the internet looking at Airedale sites & came upon yours, they are wonderful looking Airedales...My Rusty was my 4th Airedale, he left us too soon.. thank you for allowing me the opportunity to see your Airedales, I just want another boy to hold again....Bob

Many thanks to Rodney for such a super job on Ivy and to Isabelle for the coffee and chat. But almost more imporantly thanks to wonderful Winnie for her company and devilment. It was wonderful to see her on such good form - even if she did eat all the doggy biscuits. Martha also did her bit inspecting my handbag! This is just to tell you that after lots of thought I decided this is definitely the breed for me as I think I`m a bit like them in temperament!! I did contact David Brown but the timing was not good for me to take a puppy from him so I went to see Jokyl and they have agreed that I can have one of Jumping Jack Flash`s puppies in a couple of months, so I`m getting everything ready. We have just this week lost our beloved 13-year old airedale who has been our constant companion - as we are both retired. We are bereft.
We are too old to take on another puppy but wonder if we could find a retired dam who would love a wonderful home on Exmoor. Jake had three walks a day since we retired here and is already being missed by the village. Letters of condolence flood in - it is so well known how much we loved him.

We love our Airedale although he is such a handful and has a definite interpendent streak!
His name is Paddy and he is 18 months old. I was really happy to come across your site. Airedale\'s are very distinguished looking and I am proud when I\'m stopped on walks when people ask me what breed he is.

my name is enid sharp and i have an airdale pup who i believe is related to your dogs winnie, webster and annie.
winnies grand parents are my dog sorrento scorch ( callie ) great great grandparents.
i found that very interesting, so i just thought that i would get in touch .
i would also like to know how i can get in to showing my dog as she has got a really good pedigree and thought that i would try to keep up with all the champions that she has in her famillyby showing her.
as we are up in scotland and airdales seem to be few and far between i do not know how to get started in showing . do you have any information for me?

Hi Isabel and Rodney - just a note to say thank you for such an excellent day on Sunday at Stonham Barns. It was fantastic to meet so many other Airedales and their owners. It must have taken a lot of organisation on your part - but we got so much out of it - lots of good advice - and Woody had a wonderful time. I think he'll sleep for a week now - he was exhausted when we got home! Thanks also for making Woody look so smart.

A really good site. We are recent Airedale owners and attend the grooming and ringcraft sessions at the Airedale Terrier Training Club of Rushmore.
We were also thinking of a playmate for our Airedale and my husband did have a Welsh Terrier in mind seeing as they were so similar. We would be interested to know how they all get along with each other and if they have the same temprement.
